Our Mission
ESAS caters to the changing needs and demands of our customers by focusing on high-quality products, services, and solutions at competitive prices for residential, and commercial solar PV systems including energy storage systems. This commitment to partnership is what makes us stand out from our competitors and allows us to develop mutually beneficial, strong, long-term relationships.
Our team has 100 years of combined experience providing solar engineering services to commercial customers from schools and universities, financial institutions, and hospitality sectors.
Our team of application and sales engineers have experience developing projects and supplying complete equipment solutions for our customer’s solar PV system needs, including battery storage, solar PV design, engineering, and installation.
We are also proud to provide sustainable solutions and believe in recycling by reusing – be it be solar panels or solar batteries, etc. We have responsibly disposed of (and re-purposed) several thousand solar panels and batteries.

About Us
Lek Acharya
Principal
Lek Acharya is originally from Nepal and currently resides with his family in Chandler, Arizona. Lek has a degree from Louisiana Tech University in Mechanical Engineering and master’s in engineering, and he founded ESAS in 2018 after his successful 8-year career in solar design and technical sales and 3 years as an Applications and Controls Engineer in building automation industry. Lek is passionate and motivated to use his industry experience and supplier connections to create a better planet for his children and future generations to come through renewable energy solutions, before it’s too late.
Mike Cazares
Business Advisor
Mike Cazares and his wife Cathy reside in Richmond, Virginia. Mike has a Business Administration and Finance degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a career spanning nearly 36 years in Finance and Business Development, mainly for several large Telecommunications companies. In the last 5 years Mike has been focused on business development, consulting and sales of secondary market telecom equipment, investment recovery solutions and zero waste to landfill initiatives. Through this work with his customers, Mike realized the importance of sustainability and the environment, which led him to Energy Solutions and Supplies in 2020 and an awareness of the importance of renewable energy solutions in today’s world and for the future.
Pravin Poudel
Applications & Sales Engineer
Pravin Poudel is originally from Nepal and currently resides in Tempe, Arizona. Pravin has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Youngstown State University and has been with ESAS since 2021. During his time with ESAS, Pravin has been an integral part of our rapid growth and has supported our customers from an inside sales and logistics perspective. Pravin is committed to his passion for renewable energy products and services.
Darcy Otis
Vice President of Operations
As Vice President of Operations, Darcy brings 30+ years of experience growing, leading and managing energy and technology services companies. He is a leading authority in transforming organizations into a service driven approach to long term growth and profitability. Darcy is responsible for leading company operations and delivery. Prior to ESAS, Darcy headed his own management and engineering consulting firm, was a co-owner and division head in an electrical contracting, engineering and technology services company and business leader for a global technology service Fortune 500 company.
